Immerse yourself in the exciting field of Molecular Biology, living for one week in the vibrant scientific and research environment of the Department of Biology at the University of Padua in Italy.
“Universa Universis Patavinia Libertas” (Paduan Freedom is Universal for Everyone) this is the motto of the University of Padua since 1222, when it was first founded by a group of students and professors who believed that the pursue of knowledge should be accessible to everybody. Ever since then, Padua University played an active role in pooling knowledge and attracting students and researchers from all Europe to establish strategic partnerships and exciting scientific programs.
The 1st Summer School in Molecular Biology will be held in Padua from July 13th to July 17th, giving the chance to 20 outstanding Bachelor Students to have a flavor of different aspects of Molecular Biology (Molecular Cell Biology and Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Physiology, Plant Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics) that are the core of the two-year Master Program in Molecular Biology at the Department.
The teaching methodology of the Summer School comprises a smart combination of practical sessions, seminars held by internationally recognized scientists and student presentations (see the Programme here). The Summer School students will have the possibility of tasting the lifestyle of students in Padua, making this week an amazing scientific and life experience.
